Digitable (“we”, “us”) operates the restaurant and shop platform at digitable.in. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
Information we collect
- Account details you give us: your name, mobile number, and business or store name when you register or sign in.
- A one-time password sent to that mobile number on WhatsApp, so we can confirm the number belongs to you.
- Guest order details: items, amounts, table or fulfilment choice, and the phone number used for the order.
- Shop orders: the shipping name, phone, and address you enter at checkout.
- Payment status from our payment partner. We do not store full card numbers.
- Messages we send on WhatsApp, such as order updates and verification codes.
- Technical data needed to keep a cart and session working, and basic site analytics on our marketing pages.
How we use information
- To create and secure your Digitable account.
- To take orders, print bills, and run the kitchen, floor, and shop.
- To send verification codes and order updates on WhatsApp or email.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To answer support requests sent to hello@digitable.in.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with providers that run the product: WhatsApp (Meta) to deliver messages you asked us to send, our payment partner to collect payment, and the hosting used to run Digitable. A restaurant or shop on Digitable can see the orders and contact details for its own customers.
Delete your data
To delete a Digitable account, or guest data tied to your mobile number, email hello@digitable.in from that number’s WhatsApp or with the phone number in the message. Include the business name if you have an account. We will delete the account and the personal information we hold for that number, except records we must keep for tax or fraud prevention, and we will confirm by email or WhatsApp.
